About Me.
As an experienced Celebrant I have had the privilege of working with families at the most sad and distressing times in their lives…
When they are faced with the sad loss of a loved one; and, at the most joyous times, Celebrating a Marriage, or welcoming a baby or child into their family, with a Naming Ceremony.
It is important to me that all these significant occasions in your lives are celebrated with a ceremony that is carefully created, reflecting your wishes and with respect for your beliefs.
My life experience and many years working in a healthcare setting, has given me the skills to help me work with families and meet their needs. As a Celebrant and public speaker, I am a confident orator, used to presenting to a large audience, and this is enhanced by my experience in training.
I love exploring how different cultures celebrate their life events. I have an interest in Celtic and Nordic traditions and I am always happy to explore with people how they can include their specific beliefs or lifestyle into their celebration.
I am a great animal lover especially horses and dogs. Horses have been a huge part of my life since childhood, and I rode competitively for many years. I love my two dogs, Whippets, called Drake and Nelson, their names an indication of my interest in history. I enjoy the countryside and wildlife conservation is important to me.
